Last Saturday, Crystal Palace secured a dominant 3-0 victory over Burnley at Selhurst Park, marking Oliver Glasner’s first win as the team’s new manager.

This came after Roy Hodgson stepped down from the role earlier in the week.

The match was also a milestone for Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew, who made his 200th appearance for the Eagles and celebrated with a goal and an assist.

In a post-match interview, Glasner praised Ayew as a “game changer.”

Ayew’s impressive performance has propelled him up the club’s record books.

His two goals against Everton and Burnley have moved him into fifth place in Palace’s all-time Premier League goalscoring chart with 22 goals, surpassing Andrew Johnson.

Additionally, his six assists this season have tied him with Michael Olise for fifth place in the club’s Premier League assist rankings with 19.

Since joining Palace from Swansea City in 2018, Ayew has been an integral part of the team, making 183 appearances and solidifying his position as one of the club’s top players.

He is now tied with Luka Milivojevic for fifth place in terms of Premier League appearances for the club.
