Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey turned back the clock as Arsenal recorded a convincing 5-0 win over Chelsea at the Emirates on Tuesday evening.

Partey was handed a rare start by Mikel Arteta and stayed on the pitch for 72 minutes. He was replaced by Jorginho.

The 30-year-old completed 38 passes, and made four ball recoveries and three interceptions, earning praise on social media.

He has clocked 450 minutes so far this season and will be hoping for more minutes as Arsenal fight for the Premier League title.

The Gunners are top of the table with 77 points, three above Liverpool who have a game in hand and four above City who have two games in hand.
