Arsenal surged three points clear at the summit of the Premier League table and significantly bolstered their goal difference with a resounding 5-0 victory over Chelsea at Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners continued their winning momentum from the previous match against Wolverhampton Wanderers with a dominant display, capitalizing on Chelsea’s lacklustre performance.

Despite recent setbacks against Aston Villa and Bayern Munich, Arsenal’s commanding win showcased their resurgence under manager Mikel Arteta.

Leandro Trossard eased any early jitters by beating Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic at his near post. While Chelsea occasionally posed a threat in the first half, Arsenal seized control after the interval.

Ben White capitalized on Chelsea’s defensive lapse to score the second goal, followed by Kai Havertz’s brace within eight minutes, including a superb finish from Martin Odegaard’s exquisite pass.

As Chelsea faltered, White secured his second goal with a well-placed header over Petrovic. The victory propelled Arsenal’s goal difference to +56, significantly ahead of their title rivals Liverpool and Manchester City.

Overall, it was a near-perfect night for Arsenal, reaffirming their title credentials and asserting their dominance in the Premier League.
