AFC Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola is hoping to see Antoine Semenyo continue in his splendid form as the Premier League approaches its business end.

The Black Stars forward was the hero on Wednesday night when the Cherries came from behind to secure a 4-3 victory in a thrilling encounter against Luton Town.

Despite trailing 3-0 at half-time, Iraola’s men initiated a stunning comeback to secure the crucial win which has propelled them to 13th place on the league standings.

The former Bristol City forward netted the equaliser and scored the winning goal leading the team back to winning ways.

Speaking after the game, Iraola’s expressed his hope in seeing Semenyo maintain his form for the remaining fixtures.

“Antoine is in a very good form. I think he has been close to scoring in almost every game the last games he has played. He is always a threat he can score (with his) right foot, left foot…but let’s hope we can keep him in this form until the end.”

The goal marked the striker’s seventh in the Premier League this season making him the highest-scoring Ghanaian in the competition in the ongoing campaign.

With 35 points after 28 games, Bournemouth are hoping to climb up the table as they gear up for their next game against Everton at home.
