Ghana’s top-ranked professional tennis players have been hosted by Enginmac Laser & CNC Technologies Ltd in Accra ahead of their matches at the ongoing 20th edition of the Accra Senior Open Championship in the Professional Categories as a way to support lesser-known sports in the Accra.

Support for laser known sports in the country continue to suffer as the nation is known popularly for football.

The 20th edition of the Accra Senior Open Tennis Championship in Accra has gotten some support from individuals and organizations in the country but as the tournament progresses, Engimac Laser & CNC Technologies have come to the aid of organizers and some players.

The management and staff of the company hosted the officials of the Accra Senior Open Championship and Ghana’s Professional Tennis Players at the company’s production unit at Spintex in Accra.

In a short ceremony, Enginmac Laser & CNC Technologies Ltd announced supporting the professional players with tokens and souvenirs from the company.

The Chief Executive of Engimac Laser & CNC Technologies Ltd, Precious Wayo, said her outfit is happy to support tennis in the country since her company is new in Ghana and wants to grow her brands with tennis so both can grow together to the highest point in the world.

Former Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho, who graced the occasion, called on management of the company to be non-partisan so they can keep supporting Ghanaians in diverse ways.

The Project Manager of Enginmac Laser & CNC Technologies, Charles Foli, says the company will continue to offer their support to lesser known sport disciplines in the country.

Some of the professionals said ‘Thank you’ to the management and staff of the company.

The Accra Senior Open Championship will end on the 3rd of December at the Accra Lawn Tennis Club.
