Dreams FC to play Guinea’s Milo FC in CAF Confederation Cup

Ghanaian club Dreams FC will take on fellow debutant Milo FC de Kankan of Guinea in the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Dreams FC earned the ticket to represent Ghana in the continental showpiece after clinching victory in the FA Cup for the very first time in their history.

The ‘Still Believe’ lads are now the 12th Ghanaian club to participate in the CAF Confederation Cup since its inception in 2004, where Asante Kotoko SC and Hearts of Oak previously faced off in the final.

The first preliminary round matches are scheduled to take place from 18 to 20 August for the first leg and 25 to 27 August for the second leg encounters.

Dreams FC will travel to Guinea for the first leg against Milo FC de Kankan before returning home to host them at the Accra Sports Stadium in the second leg.

The winner of the tie will advance to face either AS Douanes from Niger or Kallon FC from Sierra Leone in the second preliminary round for a chance to qualify for the group stage.
