On Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Robert Champroux Stadium, it will be a make or break clash between Hasaacas Ladies and AS Police in the final group game of the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone B qualifier.

Both teams lost their opening game to River Angels United who have already qualified to the semi-finals.

Hasaacas Ladies head coach Yusif Basigi was in the stands to watch AS Police game against Rivers Angels United and said they are no pushovers.

“Is not about the scoreline against Rivers Angels United or the day they played, we only looked at our strength and improved on that.

“Game tactics changes, there are variations and the coach can change their tactics against us,” Basigi told 3Sports.

On the other side, head coach of AS Police Nurudeen Laryea is of full confidence they will beat Hasaacas Ladies to book their qualification to the next round despite their heavy defeat to Rivers Angels.

“I watched Hasaacas Ladies play against Rivers Angels United and they are a good side, and we respect them but it won’t be an easy match because it is our last hope and I expect a win from my team.

“The game will however have some familiar faces facing each other in what is likely to be a crunch encounter,” he said.

Niger have three players in their set-up who are of Ghanaian descent and have played in the Women’s Premier League before.

For the three players, the game means everything to them and they will do almost everything to get a win.

A win for AS Police will take them to the semi-finals and either a win or a draw for Hasaacas Ladies will qualify them.
