Soulama Abdoulaye honoured at Hearts-Kotoko clash

Soulama Abdoulaye featured in the Hearts-Kotoko clash in 2016
Ghana’s two top clubs – Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko – on Sunday observed a minute’s silence for Burkina Faso international Soulama Abdoulaye just before kick-off of the 2017 MTN FA Cup final. It was a sad moment for the two sides as Soulama – who featured for both sides in his playing career in Ghana – died two days ahead of the clash. He died in his hometown of Banfora after a long illness. After news of the death of Soulama broke on Saturday morning, the two clubs paid him tribute via their twitter accounts.

He was buried on Sunday as per Islamic custom.
