Soldiers attached to Bagbin’s office removed

The Military personnel attached to the Office of the Speaker have been withdrawn by the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) after due process was not followed in attaching them to the office.
The withdrawal which took effect Friday January 14 was to allow for their attachment to be regularized, a statement said.
“The undernamed military personnel were attached to the Office of the Rt Honourable Speaker of Parliament without the proper procedure,” the statement said.

They are “Jafaru Bawura, Apugiba Awuni David, Agbley Prosper, and Bonney Prince.”
Sources closed to Mr Bagbin who also confirmed this news to TV3 on Saturday January 15 said the affected officers were requested by the Speaker.
