Multiple award-winning Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has conceded that his life is under threat following a prophecy by Bishop Stephen Akwasi Appiah on his life.

The man of God, popularly known as Jesus Ahuof3, had prophesied last month that the musician will be shot dead by unknown assailants on Monday, October 18.

On Monday, October 18, news broke that Shatta Wale had been attacked and he was battling for his life at a hospital.

Police got involved but efforts to trace him at a hospital in Accra proved futile while most of his close friends and family members had no clue of his whereabouts, according to the police.

As a result, they mounted a search for him.

But the musician broke his silence in the wee hours of Tuesday, confessing that the prophecy had taken him through psychological trauma.

“The statement made by this false prophet has gotten me in a mood of violence since no one in this country cares,” he wrote on his official Facebook page, adding: “So the police of this country want to tell me none of them saw those threatening statement online to take action?”

Shatta Wale demanded explanation why his life can be threatened and the law cannot take its course, admitting that his life is still in danger.

“If my life can be threatened and there is no law to take actions on that then I guess I will do what is right in the eyes of God,” he wrote.

“This is not the first time I have had these threats in this country am now I am going these emotional trauma alone,

“My dad has even defended me on radio on this same issue .why ? Why ? Ghana ? Why ?

“Yes, my life is in Danger and am on the run till this country shows me there are LAWS..”
