Award-winning rapper, Strongman has recounted some sacrifices he made to contribute to the success of his hit track ‘Transformer’.

The rapper disclosed to Anita Akuffo on The Afternoon Show that he had to sacrifice for three days and seek the face of God prior to the release of his song Transformer in 2017.

According to him, he embarked on the spiritual journey because it was his debut release while he was signed to SarkCess and wanted the song to be a blockbuster.

“When I was about to release Transformer, I fasted for three days before. From 6 am in the morning to 6 pm in the evening. It wasn’t easy. Aside Transformer I don’t remember fasting for any song…after the fasting, we just released it and as soon as we dropped it, it was everywhere, the fasting worked,” the rapper recounted on Thursday, May 2.

Strongman said the results after the release of the song was overwhelming admitting that the fasting really worked for him.

However, he noted that he has since not been engaged in any fasting prior to a song release because the earlier one “was not easy.”

But he said he prays and commits his work to God having faith and believing in God’s manifestation.

Strongman has unveiled his latest EP, ‘God & Rap”, a captivating masterpiece spanning seven tracks which features talented artistes like King Paluta, Kweku Darlington, Dope Nation and Sevenkizs demonstrating his versatility as a rapper.
