Reality TV child star, now a full grown woman and musician, Maame Esi Awotwe, popularly known as Essi, is all set for her upcoming maiden concert dubbed ‘Essi Music Rituals’.
This comes off on Sunday, April 9 at the Becky Kay Bar & Restaurant in Cape Coast.
The 2011 Talented Kidz winner who wowed fans with her eccentric performances on TV3’s ultimate reality show for kids, since victory, has released some hit singles such as ‘Dreams’ and ‘Low’, released in 2015 and 2021 respectively.
Speaking to Belinda Asomani, producer for Adwumapa Mbre and Yenko Fie on Connect FM, her road manager explained that this concert is to outdoor the brand “Essi” to the world and the best place to start is from home, the Central Region, where she is from.
The Alordia Promotion signee, who recently released her debut 14-track album titled ‘G.O.O.D tape Vol. 1′, will be performing with The Pacs Band at the concert.
Music lovers should expect nothing but the best from the passionate singer, since she is poised to deliver exceptional performances and good music. All fans in the Central Region are entreated to attend.
Interestingly, there will also be amazing performances by Nana Blu, Loyce, and Minab among others. Doors open at 7pm.
Essi shot to fame in 2011 when she was crowned winner for TV3’s reality show Talented Kidz.
