Mr Hughes, who co-hosts TV3’s flagship morning magazine show New Day and other programmes on the various Media General platforms, welcomed the announcement of his selection to host the big tourism event. “My deep knowledge, appreciation and advocacy for tourism is an open secret. In addition, my many years of delighting diverse live audiences with masterful performances, smooth presentations and impressive dress sense will come to play once more at this grand occasion,” he said. The highbrow ceremony is expected to have over five hundred guests, including key government functionaries, personalities from the diplomatic corps and players within the tourism industry, among others.
