Semenhyia, Lyte back in Mentor after eviction

It was an eviction-free night as contestants performed reggae dancehall songs on Week 9 of Mentor – OwnĀ  The Stage competition.

Semenhyia from Team Appietus and Lyte from Team Bessa were voted back into the competition after being evicted.

Kweku Bany won the Star Performer award for the night.

Contestants opened the show with a peace song ahead of the December 7 elections, because of which there will be no show next Sunday.

Sena Vocals performed ‘Red Light’ by Eddie Murphy ft Snoop Lion.

With an eye-catching performance, Hyndu did a rendition of Gyptian’a ‘Hold Ya’.

Xnaiq came out for the reggae night to perform a cover of ‘I’m Corona” by Lion Rhymz.

Ayeyi came through with all the energy to perform ‘Hero’ originally done by Stonebwoy.

Abyna Mrogan performed ‘Footprints’ originally by TOK.

Netty did a cover of Stonebwoy’s ‘Run Go’.

Kweku Bany came to the reggae night to perform ‘People Dey'” by Stonebwoy.

The man from Sekondi, Semenhyia, gave a spectacular welcome back performance while Lyte came through with an amazing performance on her come back.

Co-host Kwadwo Addo gave a marvelous performance of Stonebwoy’s Top Skanka.

Guest judge for the night was celebrated Ghanaian Grammy nominee, Rocky Dawuni.

Guest act MzVee came through with an amazing performance.
