Media General has launched the Ghana Month in a grand style at its premises on Friday, March 1.

The media organisation as part of its celebration of the Heritage Month has come up with several programs to enthuse and educate Ghanaians in the Ghana Month.

Head of Programmes for 3 Group, Miriam Osei Agyemang shared what viewers should expect on Media General’s platform for the Ghana Month.

“All our programmes will have the theme of Ghana Month. We have been patriotic at heart all year round but particularly for the month of March because it is our independence month we go the extra mile with our presentation and content and to make sure that we give a fair balance to all the rich culture that Ghana has to show.

“On all our programmes on TV3, we will highlight our rich culture and heritage. And for visitors and tourists in Ghana, we entreat you to keep your channel on TV3 for all the education on Ghana month, very rich and detailed,” she said.

During the launch, Group Chief Operating Officer of Media General, Nuamah Eshun-Famiyeh appealed to the general public to support in promoting Ghana in this Heritage Month.

While recounting his favourite Ghanaian dishes and unique traits, Mr. Nuamah reminded the public of their special qualities which makes them Ghanaian and why they must cherish and uphold it.

“This month lets tone down the partisanship (if we can) and work harder on project Ghana. Let us all Remember we want to get from Adenta to Circle in Peace and that we only have the same Accra Kumasi road to travel on, that the easiest way to Togo is through Ho and that Tamale to Bolga still goes through Walewale,” he said.
