Popular Ghanaian musician Justice Amoah, widely known as Patapaa, has said that Shatta Wale never referred to him as an “Underground” artiste, but his “godfather” was referring to Yaa Pono, who had had a feud with Shatta about four years ago.

Speaking to Tony Best on Akoma FM’s Entertainment 360, the One Corner hitmaker claimed that he is equally a hero as Shatta Wale and there was no way Shatta would have directed his tweet to him.

“Yaa Pono is the reason Shatta Wale wrote that and in my opinion it was only right for Shatta to refer to me if Yaa Pono needed hype that bad,” he said, “after all Shatta knows what I can do as an artiste. Shatta Wale is a hero just like me, he knows what is inside me.”

The rapper asserted that he did not understand Shatta Wale’s tweet from the get-go but taking time to think through, Shatta was rather praising him.

On his reaction to why some industry persons and other music lovers make mockery of his craft, Patapaa said that he knows very well that a lot of people see him as an underdog, but he will definitely keep doing what he knows best and will be a hero of the industry in no time.
