The organisers of Radio and Television Personality (RTP)Awards, Big Events Ghana, has outdoor its nominees for the 11th edition of the awards. Onua FM and Onua TV have been nominated in five categories, which indicates that the two Media General entities are poised to sweep all the nominated awards this year.
Big shot in the radio and television entertainment, and the anchor of Anigye Mere on Onua Fm and Onua Television respectively, Christian Agyei Frimpong, aka the KING, has been nominated in 3 categories.
These are Radio Entertainment Talk show programmes of the year 2020-2021.
Radio Talk Show host of the year 2020-2021 and Television Male Entertainment show host of the year 2020-2021.
Mr Agyei Frimpong, who has received a few nominations in the past, said that they are very positive about a win. He reiterated that this time around, he will come home with awards to show to his viewers and listeners that he is on top when it comes to entertainment shows issues.
Meanwhile, the new entrant on the block of the awards scheme, Onua tv’s Janet Afia Afriyie, also known as Afia Tagor, has been nominated in the Television Discovery Of the year awards 2020-2021.
Onua Television has been nominated in the Emerging Television Station of the year category.
