Meek Mill also an American rapper has expressed interest in producing an album with a Nigerian or Ghanaian artiste.

The rapper in a tweet on January 30 said “If I made an album with an African artist who should it be??? Question to Nigeria Ghana? I rap well I could do in 2 weeks with a good producer??? Leave a comment who?”

This was after he had revealed that he charges $250,000 for a verse, but he’s open to negotiating down to $150,000 in the right circumstances.

On X, Meek shared, “Every time I do a verse I charge 250k and up. If you got 150k on sight and I like the song, we can swap it outtt!!!!

Meek Mill further explained the rationale behind the price. According to him, some artistes need other platforms to promote themselves.

He added that with his huge fanbase of over 50 million people, and good playlisting on streaming platforms, he can help promote them.
