American rapper, Meek Mill is looking forward to producing an album with an African artiste particularly from Nigeria or Ghana.

Meek Mill in a tweet on X formerly Twitter asked netizens which African artiste should he have a collaboration with for an album.

He said he is a good rapper and could produce the album in two weeks.

If I made an album with an African artist who should it be??? Question to Nigeria Ghana? I rap well I could do in 2 weeks with a good producer??? Leave a comment who?” Meek Mill tweeted on Tuesday, January 30.

The rapper is yet to feature any Ghanaian or Nigerian artiste.

Meek Mill in a tweet last week revealed that he charges $250,000 for a verse, but he’s open to negotiating down to $150,000 in the right circumstances.

On X, Meek shared, “Every time I do a verse I charge 250k and up. If you got 150k on sight and I like the song, we can swap it outtt!!!!

Meek Mill further explained the rationale behind the price. According to him, some artistes need other platforms to promote themselves.

He added that with his huge fanbase of over 50 million people, and good playlisting on streaming platforms, he can help promote them.

The rapper already has some love for Ghana and has been in the country a few times for holidays including shooting a music video at the Jubilee House which caused many controversies.

Meek Mill vows to sign a Ghanaian artiste

The rapper during his 2023 visit to Ghana vowed to sign a Ghanaian artiste onto his record label, Dream Chasers Records, on his second visit to the country.

Meek Mill made this known during an interaction with his fans on X, where one fan asked him to look into the music talents in Ghana.

“Ima sign one next time I come! Remember this post!” the rapper said.
