Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Olive The Boy has raised concerns about his nominations for the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

The ‘Goodsin’ hitmaker has received three nominations for this year’s TGMA.

They include; Best new artiste of the year, Most popular song of the year and best Afrobeats song of the year.

However, in an interview on TV3, the musician said he’s convinced he should have been nominated for two other categories.

He disclosed that his management has presented a petition to the scheme to be considered for the Album/EP of the year and Best Afrobeats artiste of the year categories.

“I think there are these two that I feel like I should have been in. The EP/Album of the year because Goodsin was an EP and Afrobeats artiste of the year. We have actually presented a petition so [ we are on the lookout],” he said on New Day, Wednesday, April 3.

“If you feel strongly about your petition that you ought to be there, we support you 100%. Reach out to us and let’s make the necessary corrections and clarifications,” he said in an interview on Hitz FM, April 2.
