My toughest role as an actor is playing romantic roles – LilWin

Popular Kumawood actor, LilWin has disclosed the role he always finds it challenging in his career as an actor.

According to the renowned actor and producer, playing romantic roles in movies is his toughest challenge as an actor.

He noted that although he eventually plays such roles in movies, he always feels uncomfortable when acting such roles.

LilWin who is currently on a media tour to promote his movie ‘A Country Called Ghana’ made this revelation in an interview with 3Xtra’s King Kwaku Mensa.

“There’s no character I have not played. The only role I’m not comfortable with it romance or love roles. I feel shy to even kiss another character although I will do it, it makes me feel uneasy,” he said on May 14, 2024.

“Those roles are meant for Van Vicker, Majid. They are best for such romantic roles,” he stressed.

Recounting a difficult moment on set, LilWin recalled that he once acted as a disabled person in an impromptu moment after he was asked to improvise.

His new movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana’ will premiere on May 17 at the National Theatre in Accra.
