Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has provided clarity concerning the viral video in which he was seen verbally assaulting actress, Martha Ankomah.

Speaking on Hitz FM, LilWin explained that the said video which has sparked controversy and has caused Martha Ankomah to sue him was a scene from a movie he was working on.

“The video out there is a movie. I was acting. If I were to be angry, I would not have done makeup. All the makeup on my face was in form of acting. It was a fiction,” he explained, indicating his intent to leave the resolution of the issue to his legal representative.

He clarified that the video circulating is just a snippet of the movie scene and had been edited to change the context.

“These days social media changes narrative. I have now come to understand our social media. What you may hear is not the actual story. The beginning of all these is not out there. I started from a particular scene in the movie…the video has been edited by some bloggers to put out this narrative,” LilWin added.
