I have stopped kissing in movies; diseases are rife now – Prince David Osei

Actor Prince David Osei has vowed not to play any kissing role in movies henceforth.

David Osei in an interview on Accra FM said diseases are rife now and has no idea about the health conditions of some actresses.

He emphasised that he cannot risk his health by kissing acting partners who he knows nothing about their health condition.

The “bad boy” actor noted that he is sometimes shocked when recollects some of the actresses he kissed all in the name of shooting romantic movies.

“I sit down and look at the images of my colleagues I kissed and wonder if I indeed kissed all of them in the name of a movie.

“Henceforth, I have stopped kissing in movies. You have no idea where someone is coming from. There are a lot of diseases now and you do not know what people do with their mouths so you cannot just risk your life like that,” he told Nana Romeo on Thursday, February 28.

 Responding to a movie scene where has was intimately kissing an actress, Prince David Osei said “I was young and it was exuberance.”

Prince David Osei, a vocal supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a recent interview endorsed Dr. Bawumia, the Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP.

Osei commended Dr. Bawumia’s contributions, particularly highlighting achievements in digitisation and the National Identification Authority (NIA) initiatives.

The actor expressed confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s ability to positively impact Ghana’s development if given the opportunity.

He has also been appointed as a member of Dr. Bawumia’s manifesto committee for Tourism, Arts and Culture.
