Actors Cyril and King George, both of YOLO fame has joined calls for funds to support their colleague actor Drogba who is battling demyelination.

In a video on X, both actors were seen encouraging Ghanaians to continue to support in donating funds for treatment of Drogba’s health condition.

Desmond Danso Dankyi better known as King George urged Ghanaians not to give up in donating for Drogba’s treatment.

“We know you have seen videos of Drogba’s predicament online but we just want to tell you that the battle is not over, it is not even started.  We are way far from the quota and we want you to keep donating.

“If the three of us have ever put smiles on your face, this is the moment for you to so something for us in return,” King George appealed to Ghanaians.

Aaron Adatsi who is better known as Cyril of YOLO fame also disclosed plans to “initiate a proper fund-raising scheme to help our brother so guys don’t stop donating. Let us make sure our brother gets back on his feet. Let’s help our brother in this time of need.”

Drogba’s condition

John Bredu Peasah widely known as Drogba of YOLO series has been diagnosed with life-threatening Demyelinating disease.

According to reports, Drogba has been battling the disease for the past two years. Demyelinating is a disorder that damages the protective covering of the nerves, causing problems with vision, movement, and sensation.

News of his illness broke out on social media on March 8 after Ghanaian actor, Jeffrey Nortey shared a flyer calling for financial assistance for the actor’s medical treatment.

Drogba has since been undergoing treatment awaiting a surgery and has been appealing for financial support from Ghanaians.

He has received well wishes from Ghanaians since his condition became public with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia paying a visit to the actor.
