In a reggae-infused night on Mentor, the atmosphere was both emotional and electric as contestants faced the dreaded eviction. Unfortunately, Juwela and Wonder Boy found themselves bidding farewell to the competition.

Juwela, who had claimed the Star Performer title the previous week, performed Asa’s “Jailer” with undeniable vocal prowess. However, judges Richie Mensah and Kwabena Kwabena criticised her for maintaining the same emotional tone throughout, urging her to embrace more dynamic expressions.

Wonder Boy, on the other hand, offered a reggae rendition of UB40’s classic “Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.” While praised for his stage presence, Kwabena Kwabena advised him to work on his vocals, emphasising the need for more daring notes. Richie acknowledged Wonda Boy’s progress but encouraged him to venture into riskier vocal territories.

Lynna Range narrowly escaped eviction with the judges’ save, securing her spot in the competition. The send-off package from Vitamilk added a touch of warmth to the bittersweet departure of Juwela and Wonder Boy.

As the Mentor competition approaches the quarter-finals next week, the stakes are rising and viewers are therefore encouraged to participate actively by casting their votes. They can do so by dialing *713*13# or by downloading the TV3 Reality App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. This is an opportunity for viewers to support their favorite contestants and influence the competition’s outcome.
