“I wanted to prove a very strong point with my performance, and I think I did that yesterday. People didn’t expect me to be the first runner up, maybe the third or fourth runner up. Then I emerged as the first runner up. All I wanted was to do it right, and I did it right,” he reiterated.

Speaking on his plans after Mentor, the rapper, popularly known for his slang ‘Geng No stress’, disclosed that he will work hard to ensure success in his musical career.

“With my plans ahead, I can’t waste three months over here. So I am going to work extremely hard to make sure I make it in my music.”

Konfidential performed with Kofi Mole’s ‘Don’t Be Late’ spicing it up with his outstanding rap prowess.
AJ, who emerged as the second runner up noted that he is proud of his journey in the competition. He further indicated that despite the criticisms he received, he was seen as the favourite contestant in the competition. Adding that, that has helped hone his musical skills.

“I am very proud of myself for the performance I put out yesterday. One of the favourite contestants in the mentoring journey was me. They criticized me a lot. And so, I feel like I’ve learnt much from the mentoring academy. And I’m grateful for that.”

Speaking on his performance with Abiana, reigning female vocalist of the year, AJ stated, “I was super excited when I performed with Abiana.”

He acknowledged the vocal prowess of Abiana and revealed that she has offered to guide him in taking his career to the peak.

“She is very good and encourages me and always advises me. I was super excited when I was paired with her. She has plans of helping me in my music,” he said.
