At a press conference held at the Anaji Choice Mart, the Public Relation Officer for ‘Made In Taadi’ Concert, Nana Kwesi Coomson, detailed how the event is slated to unfold. Unlike the maiden edition in 2017, which was basically a concert, Made in Tadi 2018 will be in two parts, he said. The first part dubbed ‘Family Day Out’ will commence at 10 am and end at 5 pm on Saturday, December 22. The aim of this is to entertain kids, parents and teachers, who Kofi Kinaata confesses to be a major part of his fan base. There will be lots of interesting kids’ activities including bouncy castles and line and spoon race. There will also be the exhibition of educational materials that narrate the history of the Western Region. Resource persons have been booked to educate students and participants on an array of topics such as Planning Your Study and Social Life, How to Start a Business at an Early Stage, How to Have a Personal Timetable, etc. In attendance will be comedian and self-acclaimed ‘Children President’, Funny Face, and ‘TV3 Talented Kidz’ stars DJ Switch and Samuel ‘Yung King Clef’ Owusu. The team has also put together an essay writing completion for students in upper primary and Junior High Schools (JHS). The competitors will write on how they envisage their ideal Takoradi to be. The essay should be handwritten and in Fantse with the topic ‘Me Sekunde Takoradze’, which translates to mean, ‘My Sekondi-Takoradi’ and submitted via email. Winners shall take home cash prizes and souvenirs. Later in the day, at 5pm, the concert will commence. Fans will be treated to performances from Kofi Kinaata, Sarkodie, Kwesi Arthur, Donzy, Edem, Pastor Joe Beecham, Kwadwo Nkansah Liwin, Ras Kuuku, DopeNation and many other artistes from Westside Legacy. Kofi Kinaata expressed absolute gratitude and appreciation for the support and love that he continues to enjoy from the media and people of the Western Region. He entreated the people of Sekondi-Takoradi to continue supporting him as he is set not to disappoint them. By Ato Kwamina Otoo|Connect FM|3news.com|Ghana]]>
