The injunction, which was granted ex-parte Tuesday, will last for only 10 days, documents from the court sighted by 3News stated, but the applicants have the liberty to re-apply for an extension on expiry. It follows an application to the court by some two members of the party; Adballah Issah and James Kafu Nartey-Oman, filed on Tuesday. “It is hereby ordered that defendant/respondent, their committees, agents, private servants or authorized bodies and all persons acting through them be restrained from proceeding with the NDC 2019 Presidential Elections in the manner outlined in the guidelines as ammended or at all until the final determination of the suit,” the court order stated in parts. The two applicants have sued the National Democratic Congress over the rules and guidelines covering the presidential primary. More soon Source: 3news.com | Ghana]]>
