Ghanaian Afro beats singer, Dennis Nana Kweku Dwamena, professionally known as Kidi, has been nominated as one of the top musicians for the 53rd NACCP Image Awards.
KiDi’s hit song, ‘Touch It’, from his Golden Boy album, has been nominated for this year’s National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NACCP) awards. The award-winning artist received a nomination in the outstanding International Song category.
Other nominees in that category included Wizkid with ‘Essence’, Tiwa Savage with ‘Somebody’s Son’, Fire boy with ‘Peru’ and Omah Lay with ‘Understated’. This makes KiDi the only Ghanaian to via for that category.
Congratulations to Kidi for his nomination. We can’t wait to have him bring it home!
