Talented female artiste, Wendy Shay has revealed that she used to face spiritual attacks when she initially moved to Ghana.
 
When asked if she would want to change anything about how her journey with regard to her career has been, the Ruff Town Record signee indicated that every step of the way is what has shaped her into who she is today.

“It was just perfect because it has made me the woman I am today. It has actually shaped my character and my personality,” she stated.

In an interview with Berla Mundi on the Day Show, Wendy Shay added the fact that her journey careerwise was a challenge but she was able to overcome it.

“It was very tough, hard and challenging but because I overcame that, it has actually shaped me into who I am today,” she added.

According to her, the journey “has made me very spiritual, hard-working and has made me realize the realities of the world and the industry that I’m in.”

Delving into why she said her journey to the top has made her spiritual, Ghanaian singer revealed that when she moved to Ghana, she had a lot of spiritual attacks, though that wasn’t the case when she lived in Germany.

“Growing up in Germany, you don’t really see spirituality like that but when I came to Ghana, obviously, I faced a lot of spiritual battles,” she disclosed.

She further added that “It’s normal everywhere. Music itself is a spirit. What is so special about me that people will like to come and watch me perform. There should be something that is beyond me that is actually making that happen.”

Using the platform, she reiterated how the whole thing has shaped the Wendy Shay we know today who is living “a purpose-driven life”.

“It has made me know who I really am. I know I always wanted to do music but knowing your purpose and living a purpose-driven life is different and that is what I am right now. I live very purposely and I am very mindful of whatever,” she concluded.
