Songstress Adomaa has played down rumours that she is not very friendly around people.
Speaking on the maiden edition of 3Xtra radio on 3FM, Adomaa said her reserved nature makes it difficult to easily interact with people.
“I have heard this complaint all my life. I am naturally a very reserved person and it takes me a while to get fully engaged in a conversation.
“Unfortunately, because it takes me a while to open up, people interpret that as being snobbish and too-known. Before, I didn’t used to smile but now, being in the public eye, I have learned to be more welcoming,” she added.
Adomaa, who recently starred in a movie titled ‘Bad Luck Joe’ noted that although it was a bit challenging switching from music to movie, she warmed up quickly and gave off her best in the movie.
“The character I play in ‘Bad Luck Joe’ is very similar to who I am in real life – A calm, quiet person who is sweet and very loving. The role was challenging but playing Maabena was just me being myself,” Adoma noted.
