Ghanaian rapper, Medikal has thrown his weight behind sensational artist on the block, Black Sherif to win the Artiste of the Year at the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Medikal, who is currently on a media tour to promote his latest project, Cold and Trophies, disclosed on TV3 New Day that it will give him great joy if the 21-year-old snagged the ultimate on the day.
He made the statement when he was asked if he was on the same level as the chap, who has captured the hearts of music lovers with his storytelling and his high-octave voice.

“Yesterday I saw he [Black Sherif] got nominated for Artiste of the year and I will be so happy if he wins,” he said
According to the “AMG BEYOND KONTROL” boss who is also competing with the ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ crooner for Best Hiplife/Hiphop Artiste of the year, he was genuinely an enthusiast of the latter’s music.
“Black Sherif is dope, he should keep doing his thing and I pray he wins Artiste of the year, I am a big fan of his music,” he added.
Medikal pointed out that certain bloggers have made it a point to misconstrue his statements hence he would not give a response to who is the best among the two.
