Cook-a-thon: Chef Smith reaches 700 hours

Ghanaian Chef Ebenezer Smith with determination to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual has been cooking for a month.

Beginning his cook-a-thon on February 1, Chef Ebenezer Smith has now reached an impressive 700 hours of continuous cooking as of the morning of March 1.

Chef Smith will end his culinary journey on March 6 by which he would have attained his targeted 1200-hour mark. His cooking marathon is being sponsored by the Amadia Shopping Centre at Spintex where the event is being held.

Throughout this extraordinary challenge, numerous celebrities, including Nana Ama McBrown, Clemento Suarez, Kwaku Manu, SDK, and OB Amponsah, have visited the Amadia Shopping Centre at Spintex to show their support for the chef’s incredible feat.
