Politician and entertainment pundit, Kwame A Plus has declared that the NPP will not be able to prevent him from contesting in the 2024 parliamentary elections.

The former staunch NPP member in a viral video online challenged the party to disqualify him from contesting as an independent candidate in the upcoming parliamentary elections, if they believe they have the power to do that.

Speaking to some indigenes of his constituency, Gomoa Central, A Plus claimed that he is not perturbed by such rumours because it is not possible.

He argued that if the NPP manages to disqualify him, the party will lose the parliamentary elections in the constituency.

“I hear people say that during the filing of nominations, the NPP will find a way to disqualify me from contesting the 2024 elections. I am telling you that they will be the ones who fill out my forms and submit them.

“They cannot disqualify me. I am throwing a challenge at them because it is never possible. If they do that, how would their MP win the elections,” A Plus said in a video shared by Accra-based UTV.

A Plus urged the NPP to begun developmental projects in the Gomoa Central constituency if they are serious about breaking the 8.

“Gomoa Central belongs to us and nobody else; what we say is what will work. There are about 250+ votes in the constituency. If NPP is serious about breaking the 8, they should start doing something here,” he added.

A Plus has hinted of contesting in the 2024 elections as an independent parliamentary candidate in the Gomoa Central constituency.

He was formerly a staunch member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) before departing the party to pursue his own political ambitions.
