British-Ghanaian DJ and Producer Juls has released an exciting new single.
The multiple MOBO winner Juls taps his Ghanaian roots on this new highlife single, featuring rising Ghanaian artistes Quamina MP and Twitch.
Taking a cue from old school Ghanaian highlife stars such as AB Crentsil, Nana Ampadu and Daddy Lumba, Juls crafts a string-heavy highlife tune celebrating women.
Coupled with Twitch’s smooth vocals and Quamina MPs witty lyrics, the single Mmmayewa (meaning Girls in Twi) is the perfect resurgence of Highlife music.
Mmaayewa is set to be released on October 9th 2020 along with an animated video.
