Former financier of Black Sherif, Mr Owusu, sued the musician for breaching their contract on Monday, April 11, 2022. The case has been dismissed for lack of justifiable cause to move with the motion on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

An Accra High Court presided over by Judge Justice Akua Sarpomaa Amoah has thrown out the injunction application brought against Black Sherif by his ex-financier. Mr Shadrack Owusu sought to restrict the artiste from performing his songs and taking money from shows and streams.

The court ruled that the plaintiff, Shadrach Agyei Owusu, failed to argue justifiably why the injunction should be granted. Justice Akua Sarpomaa Amoah also stated that it will be unfair to Black Sherif if the motion was approved.
