Actor John Dumelo & wife welcome son

Actor John Dumelo and his wife, Mawuena, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, months after the two tied the knot.

The award-winning actor announced the birth of his son in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

He professed his undying love for the newly born baby.

John Dumelo also gave his son some wise counsel as to how to live his life, growing up:

“Never give up. Always aspire to be better and do better than before. Be a beacon of kindness and truth in this world. Don’t have hate in your heart or carry grudges.”

John Jnr @johnd_jnr I’m glad you have finally arrived. It’s been months, weeks, days and hours of waiting…..You look just like we imagined. Infectious smile, bright eyes, curly hair and chocolate skin. Before I get all emotional and write a whole book, lemme let you have these few words to guide you. You can do anything you want and be whoever you want to be just like how my dad allowed me to explore…. Never give up. Always aspire to be better and do better than before. The actor seems to have been keen on introducing his son to every aspect of life and taking him through the process himself as he has created an Instagram account for the infant.

Few hours after the creation of the account, the baby seemed to have won many hearts already as he has bagged over 5,000 followers as at the time 3news.com checked.

John Dumelo married his sweetheart, Mawuena, in May this year. The likes of former President John Dramani Mahama, who is said to be a close ally of the actor, together with some actors and showbiz personalities were in attendance to share in their joy at the ceremony.
