S/R: Lawuratu Saaka rallies Gonjaland to address falling standards in education

A Deputy Executive Secretary at the Postal and Courier Service Regulatory Commission (PCSRC), Lawuratu Musah-Saaka, has appealed to Gonjalanders to place priority on education.
According to her, the only way to improve upon the performance of schools in the region is for stakeholders to prioritize education.
There has been a huge decline in performance of education at the basic and high school levels in the Savannah Region since 2020.
In an interview with editors.3news.com, Madam Lawuratu, who has started a social media campaign to rally stakeholders to support education in the Region, called on Gonjalanders to support education in the region.
“Education is the foundation for everything formal or informal. It is sad to see the Savannah Region performing this badly. The question is what is our contribution as residents to improve this for our future leaders.
“We must come together collectively as a people and fight this. It is time to support with your widow’s mite to tackle this head-on.”
She has started a fund raiser to mobilize funds to provide education materials to enhance education in the Region.
“This fund raising admittedly will not address all the issues contributing to the poor performance but it can address some of the basic issues of education materials available to the student.”
