Nana Nketsia IV made his sentiments known to the Party when its flagbearer, Dr Michael Abu Sakara, vice presidential candidate Nana Akosua Frimpongmaa Sarpong Kumankuma and Chairperson Samia Nkrumah paid a courtesy call on the paramount chief.
“Your visit has inspired me and the people of Essikado,” Nana Nketsia IV said.
Dr. Sakara told the chief and his elders that the CPP was in Essikado to solicit support as part of its campaign ahead of the Decmber 7 Elections.
He also promised that a CPP government will take keen interest in the transformation of Ghanaians.
“A CPP government will place premium on the social and economic transformation of the people,” he promised.
Dr. Sakara’s running mate, Nana Akosua Frimpongmaa, pledged the Party’s commitment to continue Dr. Kwame Nkrumah‘s ideologies.
The chairperson of the Party, Samia Nkrumah, who is a daughter of Party Founder Kwame Nkrumah, said that reviving the ideologies of her father was possible.
