To the various cast and crew who have played major roles in raising the bar in theatre and arts; to all corporate bodies, media houses and all individuals who have supported, prayed and contributed in diverse ways to bring me this far, may God reward you abundantly for the trust reposed in me.” Nii said after receiving the award.

He has written more than 45 plays, more than 200 inspirational poems, published two poetry books and directed 19 of his plays at various venues such as the National Theatre, Golden Tulip in Kumasi, Efua Sutherland Drama Studio, University of Ghana and Perez Chapel.
