The gesture forms part of the Wayoe Workers’ Wives Association’s five-years celebration.
The toilet facility is the company’s contribution to curb open defecation and improve sanitation in the municipality.
The Association has also donated a number of items to other regions and countries where the company operates. These include Ahafo Kenyasi and Sierra Leone respectively.
At Ahafo Kenyasi, the company’s CSR programme donated items including clothes, school bags, school shoes, pen and pencils among others to the residents.
The President of the Association, Dr. Sara Liki Wayoe, said it is their core mandate to give back to the society.
She also outline some major transformational exercise they are embarking on to assist women in Ghana to climax their 5th anniversary come September 4, 2021.
