Voter ID card of Asian male fake – EC

The Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC) has denied issuing a voter identification card to an Asian male. This follows the circulation on social media of a new voter ID card with a photo of an Asian male. According to the EC, the card with an ID No: 2809012504 which was originally commissioned to Nana Kweku Okai Brako has been photoshopped with the image of the Asian male onto the face of the card. “All of the photographs on the EC voter ID card have a blue background. “In the photoshopped ID card, the background of the photograph with the Asian male is cream.” In a press release, the Commission, therefore, urged the public to disregard it.
