Media General’s Election Command Centre Wednesday hosted some first-time voters on TV3 to discuss what they look forward to in a political party’s manifesto as election 2020 draws closer.
The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a few other smaller parties have already launched their manifestos, but the biggest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is yet to do so.
While waiting on all other parties to also unveil their policies, the conversation has already begun, with the youth expressing their views on what is of concern to them.
A poll hosted on the TV3 Ghana twitter page which complemented the discussion sought to gauge where the priority is in youth policy formulation and of the votes cast, jobs appeared to be the most pressing issue to them.
