A CCTV footage of a daylight robbery at Spintex has emerged showing one of the robbers wielding pistol and firing warning shots before attacking the victim.
From the date captured on the footage, the robbery incident took place on Monday, May 27 at the Pan-African Savings and Loans branch at Spintex.
The robbers (two men) sat on a motorbike and had followed the victim, a worker of the Pan-African Savings and Loans branch at Spintex to her workplace.
The CCTV camera captured the robbers parking their motorbike just few seconds after the victim had parked her vehicle in front of the savings and loans company.
They parked a few meters away from the victim, got down from their motorbike and fired warning shot and moved closer to the victim’s vehicle.
Before the victim could exit her vehicle, the robbers attacked her in the vehicle and bolted away with a bag suspected to be carrying huge sum of money.

They left the scene firing gunshots while riding away on their motorbike with no threats and fight back from any security personnel.
The police are yet to comment on the matter.
However, an aftermath video of the incident on social media shows that the victims sustained bruise on her elbow from the incident and was transported to another vehicle for treatment at the hospital.
