According to Captain Smart, religion is the bane of all Africa’s problems, including poverty. He stated that leaders of religion are the reason why people are not progressing in the continent.
Speaking on the Onua Maakye show, Captian Smart emphasized that religious leaders preach about only salvation but not wealth creation methods.
“Listen, the reason why Africa we are poor is because of the Bible and the Qur’an. Do you know why? All the pastors are dumb. They do not understand the Bible. And again, we shall become rich with the same Bible and the same Qur’an.
“Our pastors all they know is to announce the second coming of Christ. So I call something the laziness attitude sermon. Every day Christ is coming and the pastors keep preaching about only salvation.”
