In a letter written and signed by his secretary Nana Asante Bediatuo on Tuesday, President Akufo-Addo thanked Mr Asare Ansah for “your service to the nation”. The appointment was terminated in accordance with a clause in his contract. Mr Asare Ansah is expected to receive his three months salaries in lieu of notice and is expected to get any “other terminal benefits or facilities due you under relevant law on contract”. Director of Tema Ports Edward Kofi Osei has been, consequently, appointed to take over from Mr Asare Ansah from Friday, June 8. The dismissed GPHA Director General was officially appointed on December 20, 2017 after acting in the position for almost a year. He was in 2017 adjudged the 2016 PR Personality of the Year by the Institute of Public Relations (IPR). Source: 3news.com|Ghana ]]>
