President of CAGL wins Best Business Leader under 40 in shipping & maritime

President and chairman of CAGL Group Of Companies, Isaac Amoako-Mensah, has been adjudged the best business leader under 40 years in shipping and maritime.

The Forty under 40 awards was organized by XO-DUS communications to identify, honour and celebrate Ghana’s most influential and accomplished young business leaders under the age of 40.

Nominations were carried out by a competent and independent research committee and validated by Ernst & Young, AC Nielsen and an Awarding Board. It was sponsored by Ghana’s Ministries of Transport, Petroleum, Trade and Business Development.Mr. Amoako-Mensah is a young entrepreneur and business man with an  International Masters In Business Administration, higher diploma in Nautical Science, NEBOSH and IOSH Tech Certified who has gradually grown his business from scratch to its current level.

He retired from the Ghana Navy after eight years of meritorious service the nation.

He then moved on to work with Schlumberger and rose to the position of Cost Manager for the Eastern and Southern Africa Geographical Market.

Taking the advice of Robert Kawasaki “do your day job but mind your own business”, Mr. Amoako-Mensah incorporated Classic Amodel Ghana Limited (CAGL) in 2010 to provide a one stop shop for all shipping and logistical needs in the West African sub region whiles working with Schlumberger.

Quitting his lucrative job in 2015, Mr. Amoako-Mensah fully took charge of CAGL and has since grown it to become CAGL Group of Companies  with CAGL Oilfields Services Limited, CAGL Logistics, CAGL Micro Finance Services Limited, CAGL Engineering & Construction, LFS Facilities Services Limited, OSC Marine Ghana Limited and Amodel Security Services Limited as subsidiaries.

Mr. Amoako-Mensah dedicated the award to the CAGL family in Ghana, Nigeria and Senegal.

“This award was only possible through their hard work, commitment, dedication to our motto Excellence in executions. I thank them so much and dedicate it to them,” he said when he received the award.
