Defeated Member of Parliament for the Ningo Prampram constituency, Enoch Teye Mensah has accused Sam George of rigging the just ended elections which he lost by some 2000 votes.

According Mr. E.T Mensah as he is popularly known, he and his team have gathered adequate evidence to be presented to the national leadership of the party to investigate.

He said “the national organizer also went round areas like Ahwiam where people were doing multiple voting. People were given four, five, six ballot papers, the police were there and they were not doing anything.

“We will collate it and send it to the NDC elections committee. I’ve spoken to the chairman already and we are going to have a meeting and I will send to the report to him, that’s Ofosu Ampofo. He needs to come and investigate, I want them to investigate.”

In the run-up to the elections, E.T Mensah spewed invectives on Sam George whom he called an “errand boy” who has undermined him. The veteran parliamentarian polled 2,831 votes as against Sam George who polled 4,910 votes.

Speaking to Accra based Citi Fm, the disappointed E.T Mensah said “this party has never been what it is. He came into our books under 4 years ago and he has brought division. He is the one who started the problem which led to the skirt and blouse voting in the 2012 elections.

“This Ningo – Prampram division wasn’t there before. His people are still threatening and threatening people in the constituency. This boy must be brought to order, he is a lose canon. What can we do except to send it to the national headquarters?

“He would have to purge himself of the treachery because he hasn’t won elections yet. He calls me his father and is saying he wants me to take him back… blab la bla. He must be careful.”
