The People’s National Convention (PNC) is calling on its supporters and, indeed, all Ghanaians to ignore a supposed suit filed by 2020 flagbearer David Apasera against the General Secretary.

Mr Apasera is said to have sued Janet Asana Nabla for defamation at an Accra High Court.

The writ of summons and statement of claim is to be served her through substituted service.

But the PNC said in a statement on Tuesday, May 23 that the 2020 Presidential Candidate has been left frustrated after the party dismissed him and took its Toyota Land Cruiser from him.

David Apasera, ever since he was removed as Leader and subsequently dismissed from the party, has been to the court seven times to challenge his dismissal and he has been unsuccessful,” the statement signed by Communications Secretary Samuel Ayesu and Policy Analyst Sulemana Seidu said.

“He has to pay the Party a tune of GH¢10,500 being costs awarded for his frivolous suits.

“He going to the court for the eighth time can only be likened to the saying ‘any idiot can go to court’.”

The opposition party said it will soon sue Mr Apasera to “retrieve all monies he took from the Party including the costs awarded by the court from his frivolous suits”.

We are appealing to the media and the general public to disregard David Apasera and his nuisance.

“He is only using the name of the General Secretary, Janet Asana Nabla, to resurrect his dead name.”
