The NDC Professional Forum has congratulated Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang on her retention as the Running Mate of former President John Dramani Mahama for the 2024 general elections.

A press release issued in Accra signed by its President Amb. Sam Pee Yalley disclosed that “the rank and file of NDC Professional Forum is indeed delighted with the selection and pledges to do all within our power to mobilize Ghanaian Professionals to ensure victory of the NDC”.

It continued that there is no doubt Ghana at 67 is a far cry from the Ghana we all want and that the announcement of Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang as the running mate of his Excellency John Dramani Mahama for the 2024 general elections promises to put Ghana into a matured, and tested pair of hands.

A pair, the Statement maintained, which exudes confidence to the teaming women, youth, the academia and all well-meaning Ghanaians.

The choice of Prof Naane Jane Opoku Agyemang, according to the ProForum, was obvious not because she is a consummate individual with high integrity and sincerity, but also as woman who opens the door for all women and professionals to rise up to contribute to revive the ailing country.

“This is because Prof Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman is decent, honest, has enviable integrity, very upright, highly respected,” the release explained.

The NDC Professional Forum is an umbrella of professionals of various fields affiliated and accredited by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

“We unanimously congratulate you and assure you that as a golden member of PROFORUM we avail to you and His Excellency the former President the many diverse repertoire of the human resource the Forum commands” the members assured.

The message said, “We also wish to thank President John Dramani Mahama for answering the call of all well-meaning Ghanaians with the selection of Naana.”

The Release concluded that over the last four years, Naana has worked so hard to endear herself to the rank and file of the Party and that President Mahama can count on her to transform this country into the “Ghana we want” after the 2024 Elections.
